A duct tape craft class brought kids swarming into the Bixby Public Library, Thursday, July 21. Dana Lacy, youth program planner, was happy and surprised so many children responded to the class. She had originally planned ahead for one class to make billfolds from duct tape. Suddenly, she had enough children for four classes; the last three making bookmarks. Children waited outside the door, in the computer room, and in the actual library.

“I think part of the response is that it’s so hot parents are looking for things for their kids to do indoors,” said Lacy.
