The 3rd annual Guns & Hoses Golf Tournament pits police, fire and EMSA personnel against each other in a friendly competition to honor their services to the community.

Head-to-head golf competition will commence at the Golf Club of Oklahoma on October 31, 2011, for the 3rd annual Guns & Hoses Golf Tournament. The winning team and the department they represent are guaranteed bragging rights for one full year. Representatives of area police and fire departments are already disputing which team will emerge as the Guns & Hoses champions for 2011 and receive the event’s traveling trophy. The tournament is a four-person scramble and will begin with a shotgun start tee-off scheduled for 9 a.m. on Halloween day.

Guns & Hoses is hosted each year by the Golf Club of Oklahoma and is held to honor active and retired police officers, firefighters, and EMSA personnel from the communities of Bixby, Broken Arrow, Coweta, Jenks and Tulsa. Teams of four men and/or women are enlisted to play in the tournament. Each year, an enormous portion of competitive spirit exists between the competing teams and the local services they represent.
