	Arbor Day Celebration April: Held at Washington Irving Park, this annual celebration includes a tree planting by a grade school class from Bixby Public Schools. Contact Walter Gund, Friends of Irving Foundation at 366-3552 for more information.
	BBQnBlues Festival May 9 & 10 : Enjoy top Blues bands and great barbeque at this annual Bixby Rotary Club festival held at Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum (at the Arkansas River Bridge in Bixby). 	Green Corn Festival June 26-28: Enjoy this old fashioned family fun festival held in downtown Bixby hosted by the Bixby Optimist Club! Enjoy the Pride of Texas carnival, crafts, live music, food and fun games and events for all. Held on the last Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each year. 	Annual Christmas Parade Hosted by the Rotary Club of Bixby, the annual Christmas Parade is held in Downtown Bixby, which is south and east of 151st and Memorial. In 2008, the Parade will be on December 12, 2008 at 6pm A favorite holiday event, this community and family oriented parade features a variety of floats, autos, bands and walking groups! Trophies will be awarded for Best in Show, First, Second, and Third place. Doc's Country Mart will have plenty of hot apple cider to keep everyone warm during the parade. The Bixby Fire Department concludes the parade, with Santa. All groups are welcome and encouraged to participate.
