Thank you for your interest in the Bixby Chamber of Commerce 2006 Dream Car Raffle. By entering the 2006 raffle, you are stating that you have read the raffle rules and understand them. If you do have any questions about the rules below, please contact us and we will do our best to answer all of your questions.

The following individuals and their immediate family members residing in the same household are not eligible to participate in this raffle: a) Chamber Board members b) Chamber Staff c) Dream Car Raffle Committee Members.

INTERNET PURCHASES
It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide a valid email and US Postal mailing address and contact information in order to successfully receive the email ticket confirmation and to remove any system blocks that would prevent the successful delivery of the email confirmation. Confirmation information may be mailed to entrant upon request.

Bixby Chamber of Commerce and its agents, Board, volunteers, partners, employees or members assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, illegible, undelivered entries. Entries without proper payment received will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified.

DRAWINGS
A maximum of 3000 entries will be sold for this raffle. Ticket prices are 1 for $25. Should all 3,000 entries be sold out prior to the Grand Prize Draw Date, the Bixby Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to hold the Grand Prize drawing early.

The Grand Prize Draw Date is Friday, September 22 at 5:00 p.m. (CST). Tickets can be purchased until 12:00 p.m. (CST) September 22, 2006. All purchases of entries are non-refundable. In this raffle, there is no possibility of a tie. All references to time apply to Central Standard time only.

ODDS
Only 3000 tickets will be sold. The chances of winning are based upon that number. If fewer tickets are sold, then the odds improve. If fewer than 2500 tickets are sold, the Grand Prize drawing will be for one half of the total collected entry fees less expenses, payable by check to the winner (50/50 pot). The vehicle will not be awarded in that event.

GRAND PRIZE
The winner of the Grand Prize may select the 350Z Touring Package option of choice from the lot of Jackie Cooper Nissan (9898 S. Memorial Drive), not to exceed the $35,500 MSRP value - cost of any upgrades beyond the $35,500 MSRP is the responsibility of the winner. The Grand Prize winner may choose to accept $22,500 cash instead of the car. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to purchase the vehicle from Jackie Cooper Nissan. There will be no cash /change offered to winner for the difference between the $35,500 MSRP and the actual value of the car selected.

CONTINGENCY
If fewer than 2500 tickets are sold, the Grand Prize drawing will be for one half of the total collected entries less expenses, payable by check to the winner (50/50 pot). The vehicle will not be awarded in that event.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified in writing via Registered Mail of requisite procedure to claim prize. Winner's name will be posted at www.bixbychamber.com within 15 calendar days of the drawing. Winning entrant is required to inform Bixby Chamber of Commerce within fourteen (14) calendar days from notification of their choice to take possession of the Dream Car or accept cash, however, winners may have up to forty five (45) calendar days of draw date to finalize the process (including payment of taxes, withholding, etc). Winning entrants' name and location by city or town and photo will be printed in select media and at www.bixbychamber.com.

If selected winning entrant is unable to be contacted or located after a period of six (6) months from the draw date, the prize will be donated to the Bixby Chamber of Commerce. Three (3) attempts will be made to contact the winning entrant via Registered Mail at the address provided by the entry purchaser.

TAXES AND IRS RULES
Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. Vehicle winner will be responsible for any and all state or local tax, license, title and registration fees associated with the vehicle. Winner will be responsible for any or all delivery fees and/or are responsible for retrieval of their prize.

Winner will be required to pay a withholding percentage (29%) of the fair market value of the vehicle or cash prize prior to taking possession of the prize, to comply with IRS for Federal and State with holding requirements. If winner opts for cash, payment to winner will be paid net of applicable taxes. This is to comply with the IRS ruling that requires that tax withholding on prizes of $5000 or greater must be paid upon award and distribution by the organization hosting the raffle. The value of your winnings is considered taxable income. Please consult your financial advisor to discuss any impact on your personal taxable income.

The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in lotteries, raffles, or similar programs are not gifts and therefore, the price of entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution. Government rules regarding withholding can change without notice. The Bixby Dream Car Raffle will follow IRS rules in effect at the time the prizes are awarded.

WAIVER/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Entrants, by participating (and winners accepting a prize) release the Bixby Chamber of Commerce, service agencies, and independent contractors and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize(s) awarded. Entrants will not hold Bixby Chamber of Commerce responsible or liable for any or all accidents, theft or damages resulting by their participation in this event.

RELEASE
Entrants, by participating, agree to allow Bixby Chamber of Commerce to use their names, photos and statements in promotional material. The Bixby Chamber of Commerce will not share other personal information from entries with other organizations.

INTERNET
Bixby Chamber of Commerce will pursue all available legal remedies against any individual(s) damaging or attempting to damage Bixby Chamber of Commerce website or undermine the lawful operation of the Dream Car Raffle.

Net Proceeds will benefit the services and programs offered by the Bixby Chamber of Commerce. The Bixby Chamber of Commerce is a 501( c ) 6 tax-exempt organization. Always consult your tax advisor.
