Bixby leadership will be welcoming the New Year with improvements, new projects and many announcments of more things to come for residents.

In census tallies released earlier this year, Bixby has shown growth of 57 percent with a population of more than 22,000.

“This is exciting news for the community,” says Economic Development Director Trish Richey. “Bixby is now the 20th largest city in the state, having moved up from 32nd. According to the OSBI released this year, the City of Bixby once again had the lowest crime rate compared to any city in Oklahoma with a population of greater than 20,000.”
